Daniel Kalinaki is a seasoned journalist working with the Nation Media Group (NMG) as Uganda’s General Manager in charge of Editorial. He previously worked in Nairobi as Managing Editor, Regional Content for NMG. He is a published author and a columnist for the Daily Monitor newspaper where he often opines on issues affecting society. As one of the most distinguished journalists in East Africa, he brings on board a wealth of knowledge on freedom of expression and media. Daniel graduated from Makerere University with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication and obtained a Master’s degree in International Journalism from the City University of London.

Susan Labwot
Susan Labwot is an advocate of the High Court of Uganda and the Programme Coordinator Women’s Leadership and Democratic Governance at Uganda Women’s Network (UWONET). She has previously worked for FIDA-Uganda-providing legal aid and awareness to women and girls in war recovery region of Northern Uganda. She has over seven years’ experience managing human rights and governance projects. She brings expansive knowledge on gender, women’s rights and expression which is a central focus of the HUB.
